I am unemployed and have been looking for work for a while now- but as we have all seen ‘ I AM NOT ALONE”. I am looking for legitimate online or at home jobs but not interested in surveys. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Let’s discuss the steps of how to find federal jobs.
Step 1
Decide which federal job position appeals to you, based on your career goals and personal strengths. It may be fairly tricky to identify at first, considering the fact that there are so many options when it comes to federal employment.

It will show all of the open positions so you can find federal jobs that match what YOU want.
Step 2

I must warn you, this isn’t as easy as applying for McDonald’s. You’ll not only need to submit your application and your resume, but you will also need to submit your KSA’s. What are KSA’s you ask? It stands for Knowledge, Skills and Abilities. These are to be submitted in the form of additional papers describing what knowledge, skills and abilities you have and how you obtained them

Step 3
Understand the Merit System Process. Due to the fact that federal jobs are classified as “competitive service”, they are filled under a merit system. What this means is that you will be competing against other similarly qualified applicants in order to determine which of you is the most qualified for the open position.
The competition is based on review of your application and is conducted before you even begin the interview process. THIS is why it is so important to submit a quality resume and KSA’s. The better your resume looks gives you a bigger edge over the competing applicants.

Is this going to be a problem when I begin my house hunting? I know that most lenders require 2 yr employment history, would my gov jobs be counted as one job w/ an internal transfer?
