Unfortunately, I do not know enough about the insurance to help you. But, you can print your boarding pass at home if you have a printer and what not.

Have a safe and a great flight.

Question by Nancy M: What do you think of Singapore’s policy on liquid restriction at the airport?
They reject liquor coming from Paris Duty Free, which was accepted in Dubai International Airport. They were making it difficult for a plastic sealed liquor from Australia just because it didnt come with an attached invoice. They also reject a pack of chili sauce which came in a package with special meal, which they knew exactly that the meal SHOULD come with the chili sauce (or maybe we should put that meal in our trunk?). They also reject peanut butter.
Is this an over-protecting act? Or maybe some policy to get more sales in Changi Duty Free?
Maybe airlines should consider the stopover effect in Changi and maybe passangers should also deeply consider whether to shop or not in Changi Duty Free.
Sometimes, your flight is without stopover in Changi, but who knows, you got delayed ‘n you need to have another flight which unluckily having stopover in Changi, where you meet straight-face officers with no smile and well.. unpleasant replies.
Anyone with similar experience? Do share.

It sounds like they are a little over zealous. I was annoyed enough in LA airport where they took a bottle of sealed water off me. I could have proved that it was water by drinking some of it in front of them.
I then went through security and bought another bottle of water at the kiosk, which I then took onboard with me.
Some airports are stricker than others. – probably best these days not to take any liquid on board, and although I can live without the peanut butter and the duty free I will die on board without my own supply of water. What is so annoying is that what gets through one airport will not get through another and half the people that work in security like to show travellers how much power they have, even if it goes beyond common sense. You did not mention if you were just transiting or actually stopping over in Singapore?
Its just another test to frustrate us…. and sadly there is no common law in writing that you can refer to – its just what they (security gaurd) say goes, or you don’t get on the plane. I still miss the days when I could travel with my pocket knife in my day-pack, which I did for fifteen years without hassle until 11 Sep.
