Tips on Selecting Atlanta Limo Service

Article by Lora Lane

Limousine is not a dream car, but a dream world in its own. It is so majestic and full of opulence that the person sitting inside the car would forget that he is actually sitting in a car. It gives an altogether new definition of the experience of traveling by road. Being a luxury car, not everyone can afford buying it. However, it is possible to get the same experience by renting the car.

There are a lot of choices in relation to buying an Atlanta limo service. Regardless of what the occasion, Atlanta limousine companies offer a huge selection of choices on the many limousine models they have available for rent. Atlanta limo service rates are used in accordance with the amount of hours along with the distance to be traveled. Other charges apply including insurance and tax fee, and service fees for the limousine driver.

Limousines are very popular vehicles for weddings. Aside from weddings, limousines are also popularly used for proms, debutante balls, wedding anniversaries, birthdays and other family events. Most Atlanta limousine companies offer an airport limousine service as well.

Be it a wedding or your arrival from the airport, you can now make all your journeys comfortable, enjoyable and much more relaxing. Hiring an Atlanta limo service is a perfect way to turn any journey into a special occasion or to make a special occasion even more distinguished and important. It doesn’t disrupt your privacy in any way as the chauffeur chamber is completely separate.

If you’re interested in renting a limousine for a special event, here are some tips on renting a limo in Atlanta.

• Complete a little background research about the different Atlanta limousine rental companies. Locate few Atlanta limousine services websites and look through them. Check whether the types of limousines that they offer are suitable for your purpose.• Inquire about their total rental fees and ask for a breakdown of their rental charges. Some companies impose supplementary charges for fuel as well as other service fees. Typically, Atlanta limo service charges include the driver’s tip in the total rental fee. However, some companies leave it to the customers to decide whether to tip the driver or not.

• Ask about discounts, promotions or packages for your Atlanta limousine rentals. These promos can help you to save money on the total price. Atlanta limo service rates vary by company, but most will offer discounts on weekday or weekend rentals.

• Place your reservation with Atlanta limo service of your choice in advance. I would suggest doing it months before your event, especially if you event falls onto one of the holidays or peak seasons. You might find it difficult to book a rental limo during such seasons because all limos are already reserved for other clients. Some Atlanta city limousine service companies even advise clients to reserve a limo as early as nine months before the event date. By making early reservations, you can ensure that you get the limo model you want.

In conclusion, selecting Atlanta limousine service can be fun, but it’s important to do your research and due diligence, prior to selecting the company where you will ultimately purchase your services.

Question by Jim: What to tip limo driver?
We are going on our honeymoon in December. We have a limo picking us up at home and driving us 50 miles to the airport.

How much should we tip the limo driver?

Should we tip him for taking us to the airport and tip again for driving us home from the airport?

Some say it’s 15% of the total fare, others talk about 20%. But be careful, some companies include the tip in their total price. So you better ask before.

Using limo services on your next trip to the airport

Article by Groshan Fabiola

Driving to a local or international airport can be a stressful time, especially if you are traveling with many people and too much luggage. You have to worry about time constraints with the flight details and making sure that leave yourself enough time to deal with traffic, parking and unloading your suitcases. Some travelers are forced to drive themselves to the airport, park in an overpriced parking lot and take a shuttle to their terminal because they don’t have a reliable mode of transportation when they return from their business trip or vacation. To eliminate all of these issues involved with traveling to the airport, look into luxury limo coach services or some sort of charter bus transportation.

You might want to search on the Internet to find the best limousine services in your area. Compare notes of each company and jot down pricing and included services with each mode of transportation. You will want to learn about how long the company has been in business and ask if they can provide any references of clients that have used the same services in a prior time. Another tip to remember is to count how many different limos and buses they offer, as this will best determine how successful the company has been since its formation. For example, you might stray away from a company that only has two or three limos under their operation because they may be a start up business looking to attract new customers. Instead, opt to work with a company that has many solutions for your chauffeured traveling needs because that company can best assess their customers’ needs and offer knowledgeable information about each vehicle.

Traveling to the airport doesn’t have to be a complicated or stressful task, especially if you have a reliable limousine or bus taking you there.

Question by bahjij6: Tipping in Euros–How much should I tip at restaurants, for airport shuttles, hotels?
I’ll be traveling to Paris next week and just want to ensure I’m appropriate.

Best answer:

Answer by Rillifane
Generally speaking, serivce is included in prices in France.

In cafes and restaurants this means that while one can round up the bill and leave some small change, the American custom of tipping 15-20% is not practiced.

In hotels service is also included in the bill.

In Taxis, the expectation is of a 10% tip.

What Should Your Limo Driver Be Tipped?

Lots of people find it difficult to think about what their limo driver should be tipped. Opinions vary, however, there are some common tipping level in fact. People typically want to tip between 15% and 20%, which is similar to what you would tip a waiter or waitress at a restaurant.

Obviously, it is usually best to tip your discretion. If you think the limo driver did an excellent job, you’ll want to tip as you think is reasonable to tank them for a job well done. However, if you think a limo driver could have done a better job your tip should reflect that too.

There are a few different things you want to think about before you make the decision of what to tip. First of all, was the driver on time? Limo drivers should not only be on time, but be there ahead of time to ensure that things will run as smoothly as possible.

Another consideration is whether the driver was courteous. They should not be short with you or make you feel like you are wasting their time. You should feel like they are grateful to have you as their guest and are willing to cater to your every need. Yet another consideration is whether or not you like the person driving.

In addition to how you feel about them, a driver should be fairly trained and certified. That also means they know the local area and can get you from point A to point B without any trouble at all. The trip should not be uncomfortable, and you should never be worried that the driver is going too fast or cutting corners too sharply. You should always feel safe!

If your driver was not up to par, you definitely need to contact the limousine company and report it.

Limo companies generally strive to provide the best possible service and they need to know if one of the drivers is not living up to their standards. In most cases, you will get a driver that you really like. It is also a nice thing to call the company and praise the driver as well so they can be further rewarded at work.

There are many different things that go into how much you should tip your limousine driver. The standard is between 15 and 20%, but you can certainly make adjustments to this figure depending on your experiences.
