Can anyone tell me if there are any 24 hour car hire centres based at stansted airport? I have a flight coming in at 2.30am on a friday and i am struggling to find any car hire although some websites suggest they are 24 hour until you go through the steps!

I need to rent a small car for 3 days from Stansted Airport in April. I’ve checked out the usual companies (Hertz, Avis, Budget, Europcar, Auto Europe etc) on websites like Review Centre and am horrified with all the terrible experiences people have had – particularly with gross overcharging.
Has anyone here had any good experiences – if so please name the company for me.

Reviews are nearly always made by the people who have had problems. I have learnt to read between the lines on reviews. Often what you are not told is important and some times the people make complaints complain about things which are not relevant.
