It’s a small town in the Alberta province. This small town has 11,154 populations (measured in 2005). The Wetaskiwin Alberta is located about 70 kilometers south from the capitol of Alberta, Edmonton. This city’s name is named from the Cree language. It called as the witaskiwin-ispatinaw which means; the hill of the peace. Some other people of Canada said that it means; Sharing Mother Earth.

What would be so special in Wetaskiwin Alberta? This is the place of the Reynolds-Alberta Museum. It’s a museum that was build to celebrate the spirit of the Machine. In this town, we could also find the Canadian Flights Hall of Fame. It was build near the location of the museum that was mentioned above. there are still many other special places that we could visit in this small town.

In the early years of 2009, around February, the Wetaskiwin Alberta has decided to continue the City Sustainability Plan. This is a plan about the future situation of the Wetaskiwin in the future. They have some awesome plans, and they have decided to socialize it to the citizens, even some visitors as well. Perhaps, you might want to know more about it.
